HERO HD is a high-performance tabletop resin engineered specifically for miniatures, terrain, and detailed gaming pieces where durability, flexibility, and surface quality matter just as much as visual fidelity. This resin was designed to survive real gameplay—handling, drops, transport, and repeated use—without sacrificing crisp detail or printability.
A key differentiator of HERO HD is its ability to be fully cured through thermal post-curing at 215 - 275 °F (135 °C) for 30m to 1 hour, with UV curing remaining optional. Thermal curing drives deeper polymer conversion, improving toughness, dimensional stability, and long-term consistency while reducing residual reactive species. The result is parts with greater resistance to creep and stress, wider safety margins for repeated handling, and more predictable performance over time (Read more about thermal curing here)
With a balanced mechanical profile, HERO HD delivers excellent toughness and flexibility, allowing fine features like weapons, fingers, and thin walls to flex instead of snap. Elongation in the 30–35% range provides real-world resilience, while a Shore D hardness of 77 keeps prints solid and stable once cured. The result is a miniature that feels substantial in hand and holds up over time.
HERO HD prints cleanly across common UV platforms, supporting 365 nm, 395 nm, and 405 nm light engines. Its mid-range viscosity (550–650 cP) ensures reliable flow, sharp detail reproduction, and consistent layer formation, even on complex or densely packed builds. Post-curing at 135 °C unlocks its full mechanical potential, delivering strong performance and excellent work-to-break values.
